The Initial Situation

 
The initial situation was confusing (as you can see in the screenshot below), there was no structure and the results were barely good enough to break even.
There was no creative testing (there were 8-10 ads in the account without any strategy).
The client was very profitable anyway due to the great results he was getting from SEO and Google ads. The site was ranked number one so the organic traffic was there (and ready to be turned into profit with retargeting).

With regards to our key performance indicators (KPI), we utilized our proprietary KPI calculator to determine an initial target of 100$ cost per acquisition (CPA), which is considered to be the break-even point CPA, and a good goal to achieve within the initial stages of management.

In order to achieve great results for our client, we adhered to our proprietary framework and implemented a carefully planned strategy.
 
Since the client already had active campaigns, we chose to slowly introduce our strategy, rather than making sweeping changes all at once. This is because making drastic changes to a successful account could be risky.
 
Our first step was to test different messages by using the best existing creatives as a starting point. We created variations of the copy and content, and added new ideas based on competitor analysis.
 
Then, we conducted A/B testing, starting with the same creatives but changing only the copy or headline. This process took place during the first week of our management.

In response to the client's request and due to the success of our existing campaigns with strong KPIs, we decided to scale the account.
 
During the Black Friday sales period, we were able to utilize almost all of our inventory. However, due to the challenges of obtaining products during this time, we were forced to reduce the budget from the second week of December.
